The buyer's guide

You don't want a sales pitch. You want to know if this actually fits, before you spend an hour on a call. This is how to check, in the order that matters.

Start here: is this you?

signalrev is for a founder-led B2B company, 5 to 100 people, with a relationship-led sale. Software or services doesn't matter. What matters is one thing: does the revenue decision still sit with you?

If someone else already runs a working sales machine, you don't need this guide.

Miss all three and signalrev probably isn't the right fit yet.

The pattern behind the problem

Sales works fine when you run every deal yourself. It breaks the moment you hand deals to someone else, because the judgement never transfers with them.

Founders try three fixes, in order. First a spreadsheet to track deals. Then a senior hire to run them. Then a CRM to systematise the work. Each is a response to the previous failure. None of them is wrong. Each just needs the methodology written down first, so the spreadsheet, the hire and the CRM have something to run on.

A CRM without that methodology is a list with status fields. It shows activity: meetings booked, emails sent, calls made. It doesn't show progress: whether the buyer confirmed the problem, whether you mapped the decision, whether there's an agreed next step with a date.

A CRM records contacts, deals, stages and activity. A revenue operating system adds buyer definition, progression rules, evidence and weekly decisions.A CRM records contacts, deals, stages and activity. What signalrev builds

Three packages, bought one at a time, each a flat $15,000 AUD.

Position

Works out what your customers are actually buying, puts it into words your team can use, and carries it onto your website. 5 to 8 weeks, typically 7.

Presence

Takes that onto LinkedIn and into your first outreach. A launch plan, a prospect list, follow-up messages you send yourself, and a writing skill built from your own calls. 5 to 7 weeks.

Inspection

Installs the weekly review, with your CRM set up around it, so the system holds between calls, with you running it. 8 to 9 weeks.

Each package runs about five sessions with me, roughly 2 to 4 hours a week including those sessions. First sign-off lands day 14.

Not sure where to start? A standalone pipeline read is $3,000 AUD. If you go on to Inspection, the read counts as its first session, so the rest is $12,000 AUD.

What this replaces, and what it doesn't

Bessemer and other advisers will tell you to hire a VP of sales, and they're right. What they can't build is the part that lives with you: why your customers actually buy. Work that out first, or alongside the hire, and they have something to build on.

A fractional CRO brings senior judgement, part time. Plenty of founders at your stage use one well. What they usually don't start with is a written buyer definition or a weekly review you run yourself. signalrev builds those, so whoever you hire walks into something they can use.

A HubSpot partner sets up the tool. signalrev configures HubSpot too, but the tool is infrastructure, not the product. The thinking behind it, the buyer definition, the message, the weekly review, is what a tooling partner doesn't build.

A LinkedIn ghostwriter keeps posting for you. signalrev builds the system and teaches you to read the signals, so it keeps running after we're gone.

This is not sales training either. No slides, no course modules, no frameworks taught in the abstract. You work your actual pipeline, with a system left behind.

What's yours at the end

Everything built during the engagement is yours. You can run it independently. The system doesn't depend on signalrev.

What you keep: your offer and buyer definition, your website copy, an AI context pack, your LinkedIn set up and running, a prospect list, a writing skill built from your calls, and a weekly review you run without me.

Your next hire starts from what's already written down, not from what's in your head.

What happens with your data

Your data stays in your accounts. HubSpot and your call recorder run on your own subscriptions. We work in them with access you grant. When the engagement ends, we hand over everything we built, delete our copies within 30 days, and you remove our access.

No equity, no referral fees, in either direction.

Who this isn't for

signalrev isn't the right fit if you have no paying customers yet, want someone to run the pipeline for you, need outbound at volume, can't make a weekly decision, or want a training course. It's also not the fit if you already have a sales leader running a working machine. Enterprise RevOps builds and custom CRM sprawl aren't in scope either.

Is this actually the right fit?

Three questions. Answer them honestly, not hopefully.

Where's the gap?

No consistent pipeline, or messaging nobody owns? Keep reading.

It's working, just undocumented? You may not need us yet. Document what already works first.

What's actually broken?

No one's doing outbound at all? You need hands, not a system. A fractional BDR or a first outbound hire fits better right now.

Outbound happens but converts poorly, or depends entirely on you? This is us. Position, presence and inspection fix conversion. Volume was never the problem.

Bodies, or a system?

Need people now, this month? A fractional BDR or a direct hire gets you there faster than a system build.

Need the system fixed, not just staffed? That's SignalRev.

Volume that already supports a full team? A full-time hire is the next step. Not a fractional engagement.

Two or more answers point here? Book a call below. Point somewhere else? Make that call instead. Both are good outcomes.

signalrev installs the system; your team runs it during the engagement and keeps running it after handover.

How to decide

The call is where we confirm fit. It's the right place to start, not where the price gets set. The price is already fixed above.
